Animation / FX Demo Reel

For the past few years I’ve been planning a sitcom series, “1099”. While I’d love to make it live action, I’ve decided to animate a few shorts based on the series to help pitch it. While I’m still working on episode 1, I’ve been busy taking on more animation and FX projects to build the show up and thus far, compiled an Animation/FX reel.

I’m mainly using Anime Studio Pro, After Effects, and Cinema 4D/Cineware, with some work in Photoshop for.VPE processing (3D rooms from photos). DUIK is a great plug in for After Effects for character animation, and I’m eager to make a few shorts using Adobe Character Animator. However, so far, nothing can beat Anime Studio for easy character rigging and animation, and I’m mainly using After Effects for compositing and more advanced 3D work when needed.

Character rigged in Anime Studio Pro for my sitcom short. And yes that is a rigged GH4 Lumix with reflections on a Benro self standing monopod. Got to include the details LOL.

In any event, while my sitcom/animation series of shorts is still under construction, I’ve included a few short segments in the reel as I’m eager to share what I’ve been working on. And if anyone is interested in voicing a character, send me your info.
